Yamah wanted to test the yamaha because I kept very good memories of NS10, and for use in home studio pretty basic, like me, this is pretty good SOUNDS The sound is pretty accurate overall with a slight lack in bass frequencies at low volumes. I am happy with these and will have them for as long as they hold up, us80m that they would go out on me anyways because they are yamaha!
